Where Is My Smoothie? An Update.

I wanted to pop up with a short post and give you all an update on what has been happening recently and what is about to happen with The Word Smoothie Blog.

Hello to everybody who stuck through a long, long pause!

I wanted to pop up with a short post and give you all an update on what has been happening recently and what is about to happen with The Word Smoothie Blog.

Firstly, it is worth mentioning that even though the past months have not been very active creatively, there is still a lot of passion about it and many new things coming your way.

Recently our small team has been facing some time-management problems. Posting articles a few times a month looks incredibly easy, but has proven to be quite the challenge, especially while trying to get a bachelor’s degree.

Due to this fact, there has been a change in the line-up. Andreea is taking a pause for now, so you will be seeing (and mostly reading) a lot from me in the months to come.

This new responsibility has vastly challenged me creatively. I am a firm believer things should constantly evolve and develop and therefore wanted to do the same with the blog.

I have always seen The Word Smoothie Blog as an outlet to discuss something a bit deeper than the average 15-things-about-your-armpits type articles flooding the internet nowadays.

For a long time, it has been a medium expressing our inner dilemmas and the lessons we learned as young adults. This is something I want to always keep as a main topic. However, as a person and a writer I am interested in so many other topics, which I would love to share with all of you.

Therefore, moving forward I will be exploring this new side with a continuation of our topics from before, but also introducing new ones. I am not going to spoil anything in advance, but I am looking forward with excitement about exploring these new horizons.

I cannot promise to keep the articles coming regularly, but no matter how often, The Word Smoothie Blog will continue its path forward.

farewell
